In this article I cover a new featurette released by Universal Pictures for the upcoming summer blockbuster film Jurassic World: Rebirth.

We have had to wait a few months for more footage from Universal Pictures for their upcoming Jurassic sequel Jurassic World: Rebirth, but today Universal shared a behind-the-scenes featurette on the making of the film and what to expect.

The first official trailer released on the 5th of February 2025. Showcasing a covert operations team travelling to an island, the home of the first research facility for the original Jurassic Park. Their mission to retrieve DNA from the three biggest creatures across land, sea and air for a miracle cure for humanity. The team uncovers an island full of dinosaurs too dangerous for the original park and other mutated monstrosities.

The first trailer gave a good overview of what to expect from the film. This newest footage showcases the action and stunt scenes which had been reported for sometime now, especially the Tyrannosaurus rex raft chase.

Jurassic World: Rebirth Classic Jurassic Featurette

Check out the new Classic Jurassic featurette in the video below!

Jurassic World: Rebirth is going back to its horror and high stakes tension roots which is a great move by David Koepp and Steven Spielberg who worked on the film script together. The cinematography and direction by Gareth Edwards looks sublime and the film has an all assemble cast with Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey and more who are passionate about the Jurassic franchise.

As the film is three months away now the anticipation is growing. I’m eager for the hype to build further in the coming months. Rebirth is one of my most anticipated films this year, amidst a plethora of dinosaur and documentary content.
