In this brief article I share some new science communication outreach I have started, which I hope will help to inspire children to learn more about palaeontology and dinosaurs!

I’m really thrilled to share that I have collaborated with the Dinosaur Action Magazine to do a palaeontology interview. Dinosaur Action is the number one dinosaur magazine for kids who are mad about dinosaurs!

A full colour activity magazine for children between the ages of 5-8 years old, the mag comprises dinosaur facts, images, games, and puzzles to keep children engaged and entertained for hours. Retailers across the UK stock the Dinosaur Action Magazine from WHSmith, Tesco, Asda, McColl’s, Sainsburys, Coop, and Costcutter. My interview is in magazine issue 170 which is available to buy now! You can check local stores near to you that stock the magazine here.

This is the first time Dinosaur Action has had a palaeontologist involved in their magazine! It is a real privilege to play a part in helping to inspire and encourage children to learn more about palaeontology and science. As someone who was incredibly interested in dinosaurs at an early age (and still am even now!), I know how important it is to have someone to look up to and help you find out more about a subject that you are enthusiastic about. I hope my passion for palaeontology can help children with learning more about natural history and the Earths ancient past.

I will be supporting the website with more content across this year, so keep an eye on the website for new developments.
